Nowhere on this web site is there a link, even though one header says "Specifications & Manuals" For $3,400.00 I would think there was a downloadable instruction manual. We bought our first oven at Thanksgiving time. It stopped working about 2 weeks after we had it installed. The parts that were needed were on back order and kitchenaid couldn't tell us when we could expect to have a working oven. The company that we purchased it from, thankfully, gave us a new one. Then, after we had that one installed, the temperate was not right by Iike 60 degrees. As it turns out, the fan was broken. Kitchenaid had someone out to fix it pretty quickly. It's been ok since but that's only been a about a month. Very pretty ovens and I hope they continue to work.

This oven was newly installed in the home we purchased 3 years ago and worked great the first two years. This past year is a different story! We've replaced the control panel twice after it goes haywire when venting steam hits it. The latest issue is a total failure of the oven. The panel started beeping and then eventually died. Resetting power failed to bring the panel back to life. Hopefully the technicians give me good news next week, but I'm not expecting it.

I bought this oven 3 months ago and the glass on the top oven looks awful! It is all foggy between the 2 pieces of glass and KitchenAid said there is nothing they can do about it, unless I want to pay a technician $100 to come out and clean it for me, even though it has a one year manufacturer's warranty. They even admitted that it is a ventilation issue. A $3000 oven shouldn't loook this bad after 3 short months!!

Installed 1st ovens less than 6mon ago lower oven coating peeled off. February 1st replacement ovens installed on 3rd day realized the upper oven broiler doesn't work! Technician came out February 13th to repair parts had to be ordered so no upper oven until fixed that will be on March 1, 2019. Have not been real impressed with Kitchenaide/Whirlpool product so far.

DO NOT BUY - FLAWED ENGINEERING & CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very Unhappy with KA 1/25/2019

In bought this oven 2.5 years ago in 7/17 and have had continuous issues. The oven stopped working while entertaining and cooking the Thanksgiving turkey and again on New Year's eve. Then waiting days until the oven to be repaired with no functioning ovens. Summary from our extended warranty coverage carrier: 6/22/18 - Oven control panel stopped working. Removed and replaced control panel and gasket. 11/30/18 - Oven control panel stopped working. Tightened venting unit. Venting unit has gaps and is allowing steam to escape, condensation to accumulate in control panel, creating error that stops oven from functioning. 1/8/19 - Oven stopped working. Thermal fuse which sits above venting unit is blown. Fuse replaced 1/21/19 - Oven stopped working. Thermal fuse replaced (again). The first two issues are due to poor venting design, which creates condensation in the control panel & system error that stops the oven from functioning. The second two issues occurred while using the oven on high heat. The thermal fuse is located directly above the vent and the high heat causes the fuse to blow. Contacted Kitchen Aid customer service to complain about this poorly manufactured and designed ovens that cost over 3K. KA said the ovens have a manufacture warranty for one year and they are no longer responsible for their poorly manufactured product. So I have to continue paying for extended warranties, not cook at high heat or use the self cleaning function, in order to have a functioning oven. I will never buy another KA appliance again and will ensure the retailer (and everyone else I talk to) knows what an unsuitable product, brand and service they are selling.

We installed this unit in June 2017 and within a year the motherboard had to be replaced. This oven is poorly designed. When cooking foods with a high moisture content (poultry, braised meats, pizza, pretty much anything) the steam shorts out the control panel when the oven door is opened. We can't even use the convection feature or the whole thing shuts off. Apparently these are known issues, well documented all over the internet but Kitchenaid has done nothing to recall or rectify. And since we purchased an extended service plan kitchenaid has wiped its hands of the problem, taking no responsibility. We are now waiting for our second service call to replace the motherboard again for the exact same problem. I will never buy another kitchenaid save I'm telling everyone my story.

Outfitted our new home with KitchenAid, 6 burner cooktop with griddle, ice machine and double oven in 2015. All is well with cooktop and ice machine but the oven is a completly different story...We have had to replace the Thermal Fuse 4 times in last year. Luckily I was able to reasearch the web and found the part and instructions for replacement and it's not too onerous - other than the part is $40 and if takes 15 minutes to do - once the oven cools...So fixing it when you need the oven, is not really an option. It goes out randomly - when both ovens are on, top is on / bottom is off, or following turning off the oven(s) - irrespective of the cooking temperature setting(s). Don't understand why a $3000 oven cannot be made reliable or suitable for cooking routinely for a family of 3. Would suggest looking at other manufacturers if you're in the market for an oven.

Purchased all kitchenaid major appliances for our newly built home. Stove top, refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, and ice maker. I'm not a great Cook but I noticed I always had to cook my food just a little bit longer for the food to be completely cooked. I just assumed it was something I was doing wrong. I made a dessert yesterday for thanksgiving. It did not set up right even after I cooked it 15 min longer than suggested. My dad cooked the same dessert in his double oven that he has has had for more than 25 years and it set up perfectly and we both went through the exact same cooking process. Pretty bad when an old oven, such as my dads 25 year old oven, performs better than a brand new double oven. Anyway I decided to buy a thermometer to check to see if the oven was reaching the desired temperature. Well. It is not. I have tried calibrating the oven and still doesn't heat up to correct temperature on the digital display. We have had this double oven a little over a year. . We have only been in our new house 6 months. I'm pretty sure the warranty has expired since I believe they are only good for 1 year. I'm very disappointed. When you spend the amount of money that was spent you expect what you bought to work correctly. Looks like I'll be spending more money trying to fix the problem or having to buy a new oven if it is not Able to be fixed. All problems that one should not be having with a brand new appliance.

Double electric oven seems great but it smoked for many hours whennfirst installed. By the time I called an appliance guy it mysteriously ceased.. I was informed that the self clean feature could cause digital display to fail if used due to high heat. Hope all goes well!

A very smart oven

We bought this oven a couple weeks ago and I am loving how even everything is coming out. There are a lot of features (compared to our 2003 oven we replaced) so I am trying to figure out all of the features. It is very easy to use the basic features, but this oven offeres more than just that. The only downfall is that the owners manual doesn't explain what some of the features are for. So I'm going to be looking for videos online soon so I can make sure I'm getting the most out of the oven. I do wish that the volume on the timer was way louder, Ot is very hard to hear if I'm not in the kitchen.

double oven problem

We bought this double oven and installed it, in less than 30 days the main oven sensor went out. We are awaiting a repairman to fix a brand new oven. Will wait and see what other problems crop up if any.

My husband and I are very disappointed with this oven. When it preheats there is a loud buzzing noise which at times continues throughout the cooking process. When it cools down it also has a loud buzzing noise. When the company came out to fix it, they put in a new fan, but about two days later the noise started again.

I'm having a problem with the convection oven in that I have used it 3 times to bake exactly the same cake and only once has it turned out correctly and the oven was delivered without any instructions (or a roasting/broiler pan) I'm also having a hard time with the cooking time! I had my other double convection oven for years and never had a problem with operating it!

Where's the broiler pan and thermometer?

This double oven came with our new home purchase...did not have a broiler pan and only one temperature thermometer. With a double oven shouldn't one expect at least one broiler pan and two thermometers? Surely ovens still come with a broiler pan.

Bought as part of a complete kitchen remodel, all KitchenAid appliances. In use for 9 months months now with no problems whatsoever. Both come up to temperature quickly, both very even heating with no hot spots. Flawless performance!

So quiet!!

I have had my new double ovens for 3 weeks now and love them. The exterior is beautiful and the interior of the ovens is a beautiful blue. I had to replace my thermador double ovens after 16 years and I know things change and get better, however, I don't even know when this oven is on it is so quiet. Everything I have prepared in them so far has been perfect!!!
