Purchased 11/19/22. On 7/21/23 it stopped draining spinning. Needed new drain pump. Was finally fixed 8/18:23. Stopped working completely 9/9/23. Will not turn on. Repair person came 9/23/23. Needs new control panel. No idea when part will come in or when it will be fixed. Owned 10 months and havent been able to use for 2 months so far. . This washer is not reliable or dependable. Company wont replace.

I bought this 1 month ago so far I am very pleased with this unit. My old one had an impeller so I stuck with one on my LG. So far this Washer has performed perfectly and I cannot believe how much quieter this one is compared to my old one. At first I thought I was going to have to stop using the 2X pods because this LG uses such little water concern about too much suds but using the add an additional rinse cycle resolved that issue. This LG is easy to use quiet and has met all my expectations.

Bought 11/2022. Gone for winter so ultimate frustration didnt manifest until after return period. Leaks water from under the washer. Wastes water. Uses 2 to 3 times more water than my old machine on any setting but Normal. Normal is only cycle that can use Soak but normal only puts about 2 inches of water in tub so the clothes are sticking out of the water and are DRY during the whole soak period - that is ineffective Does not get clothes clean. If I have any spots I Shout them first then wash them then hand wash the spots out and finally re-wash them to get the soap fully out. I have spent way too much time babysitting this washer Two repair people told me to wash everything on Heavy Duty with maximum soap in fill container. That uses twice the water it should and 2-3 times the soap it should and still doesnt get the clothes clean. I would like to get rid of this Smart washer and go back to a manual washer that I can control the amount of water and let it soak for a period of my choosing and not some pre-designated time.

We bought this washer 6 months ago. It worked fine for about 3 months and then we started getting an IE error. I spent a couple of hours troubleshooting on my own with no success. After numerous phone calls to customer service I finally got someone to my house for a diagnosis. After about 3 weeks of not having a washing machine a serviceman fixed it. It then worked fine for about 2 months until I got the same error yesterday. Beyond frustrated.

Recently purchased quite an upgrade of my machine I purchased in 2010. I was surprised by the capacity in fact I can barely reach the bottom to remove washed clothes and Im not a petite woman. I like that Im notified when a load is complete. The dispensers for detergent and fabric softener work very well. My towels havent been this soft since I purchased them. Overall I would rate this machine a 10 and highly recommend.

Good machine with a VERY BAD soap dispenser

The soap dispenser is a nightmare on this good machine. Its a shame to ruin an OK washing machine with a cheap piece of junk that looks like an after thought. When using dry detergent the dispenser lets the soap fall on top of the dry cloths. If adding fabric softener it lets that do the same. Even if you are careful and do something like program a rinse and spin the fabric softener tray fills up with water and you have to remove the whole try to get it dry and continue.

No issues with this washer so far only had it for a month. I did about 25 cycles. Definitely a learning curve with these new HE machines with impeller. Ive been using a machine that was 20+ years old. Still learning but so far I have to say the clothes have been coming out fine. Love the large capacity especially for towels and bedding. Starting to get the hang of which cycles/cycle combo works the best for my needs. I am happy with the purchase. The washer is much quieter than my old machine. Ive read people complain about the noise but I havent found that to be the case. I did make sure the unit was properly leveled which I think is very important. Also trying loading the machine properly is important. Love the Wi-Fi and app wasnt something I really needed or was looking for but come to find out its very useful.

My dryer went out last month and after researching we decided on LG. When we were about to purchase just the dryer but we decided to get a washer too. Mine was still working but it was nearly 20 years old. Im disappointed that this is one doesnt seem to fill with enough water. Ive been using the add water setting every time. When I watch through the clear lid it seems that some some items are always above the water. My other problem is that it is nearly impossible for me to reach every item in the tub when there cycle is over. Im 53 so not far below average height. The machine is flat on the floor and not on a platform like I had in my previous home...I cant even imagine living with that. I felt like Id fall in trying to teach I had to purchase a grabber to get the items on the bottom. It makes for a frustrating laundry day.

I purchased this washer a few weeks ago when my old.one went out similar model we had for 10 years with a large family we need the large capacity washer and dryer. I Prefer this model as it lets me add water plus option I like to wash with more water than the smart technology allows.
